Our first shot, the andromeda galaxy - M31

Updated: Jan 25

On the 26th of December 2020 we made our first shot with our brandnew equipment. We chose one of the coldest nights of the year (10 degrees celsius below zero) but we had to do it, because we had finally no clouds after weeks! All worked fine, including polar alignment, guiding etc. and we went back inside the warm and cozy living room, lucky and excited for the upcoming result. After 1 hour we checked our gear and realized, that all lights were off. Somehow we lost the connection to the battery, what a SHOCK!

Anyway, check out our first shot, with only 6 pics of 180s exposure time.
